HISTORY
DESIGN CONSORTIUM PVT LIMITED was formed in 1977 by its founder directors: Prof. Lakshman Alwis and Mr. Nalin Wijeyekoon. DCL has successfully completed several prestigious projects.
PHILOSOPHY
Architects create space for living. Architecture is a Functional Art and a Pleasurable Science; its implementation requires a fine balance of Codes, Functions, Aesthetics, Innovation, Technology, Time and Cost. Good Architecture is a major component of the positive influence on the human environment. Successful implementation requires the employment of abundant resources, dedication, interest and the inputs of a multi-disciplinary team.
SCOPE OF SERVICE
In keeping with its declared philosophy, dcl provides a multi-disciplinary consultancy services. The firm is geared to provide a comprehensive consultancy service in architectural, structural & civil, mechanical & electrical engineering, landscaping, interior & urban designing and quantity surveying. Where necessary, dcl has well-established relationships with outside consultants.
